This was shot at my sister-in-law's property, Walking River Ranch, in Florida. I thought the sepia tones would suit the old time Southern look.

I have been taking photographs since my Mom gave me my first camera for my 16th birthday. Sure wish we'd had digital way back then. I have no formal training but people tell me I have a good eye. I enjoy taking photos of just about anything, but prefer landscapes and nature photography. I also enjoy using the available filters in Paint Shop Pro. Even Ansel Adams fiddled with his photos by using exacto knives and chemicals. :) If you would like wording added to any of these images, or a color image in black and white, or a black and white image in color, please send me an email through this site, and I will be very happy to customize for you. Thanks for viewing my work.

Hello! Such a mysterious part of the world, all those mossy, drippy trees and swamps. Thanks for sharing it with us all. Sincerely, Kirsten

I love it in sepia; however, you may also want to do a B&W also because it is a great picture for the home decorator.

Thanks, Gary. It seems most of these trees really don't care about boundaries, and Becky lets them grow. She has one tree that she calls the petrified - not because it's scared, mind you, but even though it is quite dead, she intends to let it be, at least for the rest of her days. :)
