I have been taking photographs since my Mom gave me my first camera for my 16th birthday. Sure wish we'd had digital way back then. I have no formal training but people tell me I have a good eye. I enjoy taking photos of just about anything, but prefer landscapes and nature photography. I also enjoy using the available filters in Paint Shop Pro. Even Ansel Adams fiddled with his photos by using exacto knives and chemicals. :) If you would like wording added to any of these images, or a color image in black and white, or a black and white image in color, please send me an email through this site, and I will be very happy to customize for you. Thanks for viewing my work.

Thanks very much, Xueling. All I did was put the camera on the tripod, hook up the remote shutter clicker, line it up, stand back and press the button, then wait to hear it click. I think the exposure on this one was about 3 seconds. :)

Thanks, Faye, for featuring this one in the Courthouses, Banks and Historical Group. I really appreciate it. :)
Faye Creel
Wonderful! I will go look and get them released. Hope you have lots of success with both soon.
Kristin Elmquist
Faye, I've reloaded this to your group. :) Will also be posting one soon with the Gold Medal Flour factory - now that one I KNOW is an historic building. :)
Kristin Elmquist
Thanks, Krista, for featuring this one in the Networking our Art Group. I appreciate it.
Kristin Elmquist
Sorry, Faye, we were unable to figure it out. No worries. I'll remove it. :)
Faye Creel
Kristin I keep watching for this lovely picture to be posted in our group, Courthouse, Banks and Historical buildings. We added Historical buildings to the group name and I know this fits our group and it is such a lovely picture. You have such lovely photography, take a look and see what else will now fit into this category.
Faye Creel
Kristin be sure and repost if it is a bank building because the photography is marvelous
Kristin Elmquist
Thanks, Faye. I think that the tall one is a bank building. You can remove from the group until I find out which one it is. Will have to ask my bf. :)
Faye Creel
Kristin this is wonderful skyline picture; however, because I am not familiar with Minneapolis buildings in the skyline, can you identify the main courthouse or bank building before it is added to the group "courthouses and bank buildings. Great photography!
