This is a shot of the Minnehaha Creek that flows down from the Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Hmmm, is that enough "minnies" for you? lol :) There is a nice hiking path alongside the creek where wildlife abounds. I saw a large white egret catching fish, a mink with beautiful fur, and some very interesting flowers that I had never seen before.
I have been taking photographs since my Mom gave me my first camera for my 16th birthday. Sure wish we'd had digital way back then. I have no formal training but people tell me I have a good eye. I enjoy taking photos of just about anything, but prefer landscapes and nature photography. I also enjoy using the available filters in Paint Shop Pro. Even Ansel Adams fiddled with his photos by using exacto knives and chemicals. :) If you would like wording added to any of these images, or a color image in black and white, or a black and white image in color, please send me an email through this site, and I will be very happy to customize for you.
