Description
Leafless live oaks seem to reach for each other with their empty branches, and get all tangled up with each other. I loved the patterns that the shadows of these branches caused in the grass. This photograph was taken in Jekyll Island, Georgia. In the lower right of the photo, you can just make out the Atlantic Ocean.

Thanks, Madeline, and I'm so glad you like this one. I'm still trying to catch up on comments since returning from vacation.

I haven't been to Jekyll in probably 20 years, but your image looks just like how I remember it. Very nice! f/v
