Manhattan Dawn metal print by Kristin Elmquist. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
It was a bit cloudy on our way back to port in Brooklyn, but I was able to get a couple of shots off the stern before daybreak. This one was taken about 10 minutes before dawn. The two very bright buildings are the twin towers that are currently under construction. I think they must have little bulb lights from top to bottom.

I have been taking photographs since my Mom gave me my first camera for my 16th birthday. Sure wish we'd had digital way back then. I have no formal training but people tell me I have a good eye. I enjoy taking photos of just about anything, but prefer landscapes and nature photography. I also enjoy using the available filters in Paint Shop Pro.
