Description
Another beautiful area that we saw on our cruise through Glacier Bay. The crevasses on the slopes of the mountains are very interesting. When the snow melts, the water rolls down these crevices and erodes the soil down into the bay (alluvial deposits).

Thanks, Frank. I was especially taken with the erosion and the alluvial deposits at the bottom of the mountains. These mountains were so large that if a person were in the scene, they would appear only as a speck.
