There is a tin type feeling to this that I like a lot. How welcoming those lights are if you are just making your way home. Perfect title Kristin! v/f

Hello Kristin! Oh, what a lovely shot. The house lamps are especially warming. You have outdone yourself, just managing to get this shot with that slanting snow and all. A f/v. Kirsten

Thank you, Glenda (and boy am I late with that! Don't know how I missed it!), Nina and Torfinn. Right now, I'd take this cold over what we had here today - it was 102! :)

About Kristin Elmquist

Kristin Elmquist

I have been taking photographs since my Mom gave me my first camera for my 16th birthday. Sure wish we'd had digital way back then. I have no formal training but people tell me I have a good eye. I enjoy taking photos of just about anything, but prefer landscapes and nature photography. I also enjoy using the available filters in Paint Shop Pro. Even Ansel Adams fiddled with his photos by using exacto knives and chemicals. :) If you would like wording added to any of these images, or a color image in black and white, or a black and white image in color, please send me an email through this site, and I will be very happy to customize for you. Thanks for viewing my work.
