Kristin, this is strikingly beautiful!!! It has an old-fashioned feel to it because of the sheet music but a very new contemporary feel also because of the gorgeous contrasts with the dark textured background, bright red violin and then there's the softness of the slightly smudgy sheet music which you know has been lovingly used as has the violin with some wear. I love that because it's not all bright and shiny new but has been cherished and loved as it should be. This is why I love this so much. It's slick and contemporary but also pulls at the heartstrings (ha, how did you like the way I worked in "strings"?) . v/f :)

There is something about an image of a musical instrument that evokes a sense of the past, of classical art and still life, and adds an aura of romance to the picture as well. Just beautifully processed Kristin - lovely work. F/V
