The Salt Lake City-County Building was constructed from 1891 to 1894. It was designed by Monheim, Bird and Proudfoot and is of Richardsonian Romanesque construction. There was a lot of controversy associated with its winning design. This building is located in what is commonly known as Washington Square in Salt Lake City, Utah.
